• Tonight representing Guide Our Growth 

• Providing comments on the proposed Land Use Code amendments that are on tonight’s agenda 

• First, we want to compliment town planning staff for identifying this list of issues and proposing high-level initiatives to address each one 

• While we’re not tonight endorsing every aspect of each amendment-we just recently began to review them-overall we’re pleased and broadly in agreement with the contents of Attachment A 

• We would like to provide input on the priorities of these amendments 

HIGHEST PRIORITY: 

• Relief Options 

• Major Division 

• Planned Development Overlay Criteria 

• Preliminary Plat Expiration Date 

• Site Plan Expiration Date 

• Self Storage and Outdoor Storage 

• Parking Ratios 

• Dark Sky Ordinance 

NEXT HIGHEST PRIORITY: 

• Common Consumption and Entertainment Districts 

• Building Height 

• Harmony Corridor Standards 

• I’ll acknowledge that these priorities have nothing to do with the level of effort town staff estimate each amendment will require to detail and implement 

• Having said that, we want to indicate Guide Our Growth’s willingness to constructively engage with town staff and the Planning Commission in the coming weeks and months to help define specifics of amendments that will need elaboration (for the Relief Option amendment, “Clarify what qualifies as a variance…” is a good example).
