2025 Accomplishments
Guide Our Growth has been actively involved with numerous aspects of Timmath planning and development processes. Here's a partial list of accomplishments during 2025.
- Guide Our Growth's President was selected as a member of the Old Town Steering Committee.
- Secured Council support for the creation of MainStreet Timmath non-profit board
- Secured $50K in funding from Timnath to support MainStreet board efforts
- Established goals and funding requirements to support the Main Street Board

We are your voice...
Guide Our Growth started in January 2023 in response to the Topgolf location being proposed just south of the current Costco location. A group of concerned Timnath residents believed that the location for this massive complex with 175-foot poles and nets located within the Poudre National Heritage Area was not in the best interests of citizens or wildlife frequenting this area. This group of concerned Timnath residents circulated a petition to put forward a ballot initiative to the citizens which prohibited building a fence or netting greater than 65 feet tall within the city limits. In June 2023, the ballot initiative passed by a nearly 2:1 margin with a 55% turnout for the special election.
Guide Our Growth continues to monitor and speak on development projects, town policies, and initiatives that affect the majority of Timnath residents. The Guide Our Growth board meets monthly and meetings are open to any Timnath resident who desires to attend.
Guide Our Growth is a registered 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. We believe in thoughtful growth that is aligned with the 2020 Timnath Comprehensive Plan.
Our Mission
Create educational resources for residents on local development issues that affect the majority of Timnath’s citizens. Guide Our Growth provides public input to the town’s staff, planning commission, and council on issues related to traffic, adherence to the 2020 Comprehensive Plan, budget, policies, and existing land use codes. We envision Timnath as the best place to live, work, raise a family, or start a business in northern Colorado.
Investigate – Understand proposed developments and policies and how they support the Timnath Comprehensive Plan.
Educate – Provide an easy-to-understand summary of key developments and issues within Timnath
Advocate – Provide a voice to town leaders on the needs of the community using both written and verbal communication
